Typographic Installation

Objective: Create a model of a typographic installation of a word relevant to the choice of its location.

Process: This installation features a Chinese character for “nurture” made from solid cedar wood. The location of this installation is in a nature park, where people can use the piece as a bench to sit on. The cedar wood is a great material for of its organic texture and durability. Cedar wood ages beautifully and has a distinct, pleasant scent.
